Have you ever heard of Itacaré, in southern Bahia? This small town lies between the sea and the Atlantic Forest, on the Cocoa Coast.
Well, know a little more of this paradise here in Brazil.
Good friends, I think a single trip, depending on the weather, is not enough to know all the wonders that Itacaré offers.
There are many beaches, sports and ecotourism activities, adventures, rural tourism, historical heritage, gastronomy, parties and ballads. All this produces a diversity of colors, sounds and flavors that make itacaré a complete destination, where each visitor can create their exclusive itinerary or experience everything that is available.

To help organize your trip, we highlight here some fascinating places, which will certainly not regret meeting them. Those who passed through there guarantee, "these are fantastic and unmissable experiences".
To begin with, put in your itinerary the first 4 beaches that are close to the city. Praia do Resende, Tiririca, Do Costa and Ribeira. These, you can do on the same day because they are small and close to each other.
Resende beach is full of coqueiros and has a beautiful look. The atmosphere is familiar and the structure of the place is still very rustic. Get used to the temperature of the waters in Bahia, they are warm, very pleasant for a swim.
A little ahead, is the beach of Tiririca. It is surrounded by lush nature along with bars and restaurants, plus some seafront guesthouses. It is one of the most sought after for surfing.
Also visit the beach of the coast. As a function of calm air it is ideal for children when the tide is low, forming even some natural pisins.
Next, we have Conduru Beach. In my opinion, one of the most beautiful and quiet. You can park right there from the beach front. Perfect combination: grass, coqueiros, white sand and sea of warm waters.
Shopping center (Rua da Pituba)
The charming streets of Pituba are specially decorated and the landscaping is different. The lighting is rustic, full of shops with local crafts, inns, bars and restaurants. Tourists and locals share the space in perfect harmony enjoying a relaxed atmosphere with alternative music and other musical performances of all genres.
Xareu Lookout and City Lighthouse
Also, in the city center, are, on one side, the Lighthouse of Itacaré and on the other, the Lookout of Xareu, much sought after by those who enjoy watching a beautiful sunset.
Were you excited about the attractions? I'm sure there's more.
There are also other beaches further away from the city centre, about 15 km away, and you can make a complete trail passing through all of them.
More remote beaches
In the itinerary of the most distant beaches, the first, is the beautiful beach of Jeribucaçu. In it flows a river of fresh water.
Following a trail surrounded by coqueiros, always overlooking the sea, and after passing a prainha crammed with rocks, you arrive at arruda beach.
Walking a little further, you arrive at Segredo Beach. Place of exuberant nature.
The last 4 beaches of the city
The last 4 beaches of the city are of immeasurable beauties.
It starts with Engenhoca Beach, which is there, in the race, among the most beautiful in the region. Then we have Hawaii Beach. Going ahead, there is a lookout full of coqueiros, "visual manero"! (slang)
Just ahead is camboinha beach, another beach of "many charms" (slang). The last of this itinerary is Itacarezinho Beach, one of the largest in the region, with complete structure for tourists.
And finally, if you like waterfalls, there are two, very beautiful in the region. You want better than that?
To go to Cachoeira do Cleandro, you can do the entire standup route passing through the mangrove and arriving at the main fall.
Tijuipe Waterfall is 12.4 miles from the city centre. There is a great restaurant, plus waterfalls for baths.
